Does drinking your own breast milk prevent you from getting sick?

The Kardashians have been known to promote some pretty problematic wellness ideas, from skinny teas to Waist trainer. And there is no shortage of documentation on social media.

The latest health experiment came from Kourtney Kardashian, who posted an Instagram Story on Wednesday saying she was trying out a more homemade remedy to ward off illness: breast milk.

“I just drank a glass of breast milk because I’m sick 🤧 Goodnight!” Kardashian wrote. (Their youngest son, Rocky, was born in November.)

If you’re a parent, the concept may not be entirely unrealistic. Better ways to ward off disease

It’s best to follow known, science-backed methods for preventing and treating disease.
