“I’m starting to record ‘Masked Singer’ in LA again soon,” she said. “And he’s doing ‘Blue Bloods’ and also starting his summer tour with New Kids on the Block in June, but we always make time for each other no matter what, even if we’re just flying over to see each other for a while. ” Day.”

During an interview with Fox News Digital in January, Wahlberg expressed similar thoughts while also revealing his secrets to a happy marriage.

“First of all, we are very, very in love. Two things that have really helped us the most are putting our relationship first in our lives, even though we’re both very busy,” he said. “In the decisions we make in our careers, we truly put our relationships first. We advise each other.”

Wahlberg also explained that the two have built a lasting relationship by learning from their past mistakes. The actor told Fox News Digital that he and McCarthy had both been married before and “both really wanted to make it work.”

“So we had to put in a lot of work, and that’s the other secret,” Wahlberg said. “People say relationships shouldn’t be work, but when you care about something, you work hard at it. So often people don’t want to put that work into their relationship and look at work in a relationship as a problem, but it’s actually about problem prevention and problem solving when you put it into the work.”

For Wahlberg, incorporating date nights into his routine with McCarthy takes work.

“Date night is work, you know? I don’t mean it’s difficult to have a date night, but you have to make the decision to give each other that time,” Wahlberg said. “It’s very easy to get caught up in the kids, the jobs, the pets, the bills, all that stuff and then just stop caring about the relationship.”

Wahlberg pointed out that couples usually have a lot of fun when they meet and pursue each other, and he doesn’t think that has to stop once two people decide to get married.

“Do the little things that made you fall more in love with each other after marriage,” he said. “I think that’s what we’re trying to do. We had a lot of fun when we met. Let’s keep trying to have that fun now.”
