Prince William and Kate Middleton asked Harry and Meghan Markle to bring their children to visit: expert

Prince William and Kate Middleton have reportedly asked Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to bring their children with them on their next visit to the UK, according to a royal expert.

The Prince and Princess of Wales have had a falling out with the Sussexes for years, but it seems like the couple may be looking to bury the hatchet once and for all.

And according to royal author Tom Quinn, Princess Kate was all for the idea of seeing Archie and Lilibet in England, but the Duchess of Sussex turned down the offer.

“There was no way Meghan would bring the children to the UK,” Quinn said told the mirror.

“William and Kate have suggested that Meghan and Harry bring the children with them and that the two couples and their families try to reconcile, but the suggestion has so far gone nowhere.”

The last time both Archie and Lilibet visited the UK was during the late Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee in June 2022.

Markle, for her part, last returned to England in September of that year for Her Late Majesty’s memorial service.

The Post has contacted Kensington Palace for comment.

The couple did not bring their children with them for safety reasons as the Sussexes were stripped of taxpayer-funded British security protection.

This now means that the couple will have to pay for their own safety when visiting Harry’s home country.

Still, it appears Harry and his wife will not shy away from offering help to the royal family in a time of great need, and a reconciliation is “100% possible,” according to a royal expert.

Harry and Meghan are reportedly hoping for a temporary return to the United Kingdom’s royal family and have reportedly turned to William and Kate to make it happen.

“A reconciliation with Harry and Meghan is absolutely, 100% possible,” King Charles’ former butler Grant Harrold told The Post exclusively.

“I can believe without a shadow of a doubt that Harry will contact Kate and William and offer to help – whether they accept it or not is a completely different matter, but I honestly believe that Harry would have reached out personally and to Meghan. “

“Unfortunately, it is times like these that bring families together and blood is thicker than water,” Harrold added.

The Post revealed in February that Charles had been toying with the idea of getting Harry back temporarily, although the Duke was kept at arm’s length from ongoing succession negotiations.

After the Princess of Wales announced this month that she had fallen ill with a shock illness, Harry and Meghan said they hoped for privacy for Middleton while she underwent treatment.

“We wish Kate and the family health and healing and hope they can do so privately and in peace,” the couple said in a statement.

It is understood the duo, who quit royal life in 2020 and traveled across the pond to Montecito, California, contacted the Prince and Princess of Wales “privately” following Middleton’s announcement.
