The Grand Canyon Antelopes men’s basketball team’s run in the NCAA Tournament ended Sunday night against the Alabama Crimson Tide, 72-61.

However, it wasn’t for lack of trying, particularly the fan support the Antelopes received in Spokane, Washington. A fan tried his best to annoy the Crimson Tide players, but perhaps he only annoyed those watching the game a little.

The TBS broadcast captured the fan’s screaming and sparked numerous reactions on social media.

“This screaming Grand Canyon fan needs to go,” one person wrote on X.

“Okay, TBS production team. All of America is begging you to isolate this screaming Grand Canyon Antelope fan and turn off the microphone for the love of all that is sacred,” another person added.

“Find that screaming Grand Canyon fan and remove him from the arena and then from the sport,” wrote another.

Grand Canyon supporters are getting loud

Antelopes fans were loud throughout the tournament. Grand Cayton received a boost in its first-round game against Saint Mary’s, defeating the Gaels 75-66 before ultimately losing to Alabama.

The fan was not immediately identified, but definitely left a mark on those watching March Madness.

Alabama will now face North Carolina in the Sweet 16 portion of the tournament.
